47ZERO is the watch brand of Cormac and Gráinne Hanley. Design and production takes place in their atelier in Annecy, a beauBful lake town near the French/Swiss border.
Cormac, previously an adverBsing photographer working in Paris, at age 47 had a stroke, which set him back to zero. Through determinaBon and persistence, he retrained as a watchmaker, and turned this negaBve into a positive.
Each design has a story, a credo. These are characterful watches made to accompany you like a talisman, in your daily life, to work, or beMer sBll, a meal out with that someone special.
47ZERO is about believing LIFE≥TIME (It’s up to us whether we just clock up the years or keep chasing the dream).
