French & Irish Tech Forum @ Station F

A very informative morning at Station F where panellists from the French and Irish Tech sectors discussed how France and Ireland foster tech start-ups and scale-ups, Franco-Irish collaboration in tech as well as the similarities and differences, and scope for further cooperation between France and Ireland and Europe-wide. We had some concrete examples of unicorns and learned of the very ambitious objectives and targets set by our respective governments. Panellists: Clara Chappaz, Director French Tech; Martina Fitzgerald, CEO Scale Ireland; Sunny Kumar, Founder & CEO Carbon 27; Orla Noon, Chairman of the Board Adevinta; Mathilde Castet, FlipDish; David Jullo, Pretto/ French Tech Dublin.

The second panel was dedicated to discussing opportunities to work and grow within the Irish and French Tech sectors.  Panellists: Brendan Walsh, Executive VP Mirakl; Anne Ravenona, Founder & CEO GlobalInvestHer; Diarmuid Gill, Chief Technology Officer Criteo.
