The Cross-Chamber Networking Reception

On Thursday May 21st around 130 members across six chambers came together for a wonderful networking evening at the Paris Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel & Conference Centre  . The event included members from NetworkIrlande, AmCham, Australia France Business Association, Chambre de Commerce France Canada, Franco-British Chamber and World Trade Center Ile de France.

 We were welcomed by Françoise Rausch OBE, President of the Franco-British Chamber of Commerce who framed the event in terms of global and shared business challenges and uncertainty, and the importance of collaboration and sharing of knowledge to the betterment of all.  From then the various Chamber presidents and representatives added their own spice and flair to the speeches and the welcome was closed by Omar Maatouk of Marriot Group. After that members from all over the world made connections and exchanged professional and personal stories while enjoying some champagne and canapés.

It was wonderful to experience conversations between so many different nationalities and sectors, there was a lot of laughter and general good humour. Everyone in attendance was in active networking mode! Our thanks in particular to the Franco-British Chamber who managed the lion's share of the organisation in advance and on the day.
