We wish to thank in particular Sebastien Louit of mondaycar and from the Vincennes Entrepreneurs Club for his assistance in organising the visit and for sharing the history and workings of Station F with the group. The building itself is a former rail freight depot previously known as la Halle Freyssinet and repurposed by Xavier Niel, multi entrepreneur. The 34,000 m2 facility opened in June 2017 and provides office accommodation for up to 1,000 start-up and early stage businesses as well as for corporate and Venture Capital partners and runs about 600 events a year.
Access to the facility is organised through corporate programmes, industry-focussed programmes and business and engineering school incubators. Entrance is competitive with about a 10% ratio of success from application to acceptance.
We were privileged to learn from The MooveLab (mobility focused incubator), from EDHEC Incubator (One of France's top business schools) and from HEC Deep Tech Center.
We then returned to a boardroom for presentations by Sebastien Louit for mondaycar, NetworkIrlande member Kim McKayed for protostars and Pierre PHILBERT for WISP solution.
We wish to thank all of those who participated in a wonderful afternoon of learning and networking!
