On Monday 8th December we held the annual NetworkIrlande Christmas Reception at the Embassy. This year we were generously sponsored by our Pioneer Member and Winner of the “Best Irish Company in France” Award 2025, Kingspan Group.
Over 80 members gathered for carol singing on arrival from NetworkIrlande members and singers from the Irish Church. Many thanks to Deputy Ambassador Dearbhla Doyle for opening the evening and welcoming everyone to the Embassy. Richard Dujardin looked back in brief on the year’s activities before handing over to Mathieu Dumaillet of Kingspan. Mathieu brought those present up to speed on Kingspan’s success in France where they now have 74 sites and 2,500 employees.
We were delighted to welcome some members of the Amis d’Irlande group from both the Assemblée and the Sénat as well as the new administrator of the Amis group. The Embassy outdid themselves yet again with festive treats, savoury and sweet alike!
Communal carols added to the festive feel before wrapping up for the evening, and for many it kicked off the festive season in great style.
