On Thursday November 13, 2025 the France Ireland Chamber of Commerce and NetworkIrlande, La Chambre de Commerce et de l'Industrie Franco-Irlandaise proudly hosted the Ireland France Business Awards 2025 at the iconic Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin. The event brought together over 300 guests from across both countries to celebrate the companies and individuals advancing Franco-Irish cooperation.

We were honoured by the presence of Minister Peter Burke TD, whose participation underscored the continued importance of the economic and cultural ties between Ireland and France. We were equally delighted to welcome H.E. Céline Place., Ambassador of France to Ireland, whose support remains central to strengthening this bilateral partnership and H.E. Niall Burgess, Ambassador of Ireland to France, whose long-standing commitment to Franco-Irish relations added a meaningful dimension to the evening. In addition, we extend our thanks to Barry Ward SC TD, whose engagement further contributed to the night’s shared sense of purpose and Eoin Scott who chaired the IFBA 2025 Jury.

The ceremony opened with warm remarks from Chris Smyth, President of the France Ireland Chamber of Commerce, who set an uplifting tone for the night and underlined the achievements and ambitions driving both business communities.

This year’s awards—generously supported by official partner AXA and Awards Sponsors Danone, Crédit Agricole Creditor Insurance (CACI) and Forvis Mazars In Ireland —recognised outstanding contributions in Franco-Irish business across three categories:

  • Best French Company in Ireland was awarded to Veolia | Ireland, with Fergus Elebert accepting the prize from Killian Barry.
  • Best Irish Company in France went to Kingspan Group, represented by Anne Marie O'Toole-Deviller who received the award from Cormac Kelleher.
  • The Franco-Irish Trailblazer Award was presented to Kavaleer Productions, with Andrew Kavanagh and Gary Timpson proudly accepting the honour from Mary Ryan.

Each winner demonstrated remarkable innovation, sustainability, and leadership, embodying the strength and potential of the Franco-Irish partnership.

The gala evening continued in an atmosphere of celebration, shared ambition, and connection, reflecting a community deeply committed to collaboration and growth. With representatives from diverse industries and both countries’ institutions, the 2025 edition once again showcased the dynamism of this bilateral ecosystem.

A heartfelt thank-you to all partners, sponsors, jury members, and participating companies for making this event a success. Our gratitude also goes to the teams at both Embassies for their continued support and cooperation throughout the year.
