Temporary EU Presidency Policy Officer - Embassy of Ireland, Paris
The Embassy of Ireland in Paris is seeking a Temporary EU Presidency Policy Officer (full-time, 1 March–31 December 2026) to support Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Key duties include: policy research and analysis, drafting briefing material, attending and reporting on meetings, coordinating logistics for high-level visits, supporting Presidency-related events, and contributing to outreach and communications.
Ideal candidate: relevant degree, at least one year’s experience, fluent in English and French, strong analytical, communication and organisational skills, good knowledge of EU affairs, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in France.
